ScanSoft Dragon NaturallySpeaking 8 Preferred review:4 stars (Dragon NaturallySpeaking preferred 8) - Dragon NaturallySpeaking has come to me at the right time, I just started grad school and at the same time I have learning difficulty. What I find with Dragon is the ability to write papers fluently, and fairly quickly. Whereas a would struggle putting thoughts to paper, with this program I don't have such problems. I do find that it takes a little training to make it as accurate as possible. By working through the training program and let it read your Word documents and e-mails it does become more accurate. For me so far, I find the program in valuable and would highly recommend by it.1 stars (Business owner) - I love what the possibilities are with this software but the truth is that even with a 2.66 processor, 2 gigs of ram with xp pro the system became sluggish - some programs were very incompatible and also locked up the entire system.5 stars (x) - The start up is quick and the more you use it, the better it gets. I am buying a second one for my son.
